> Testing from the [git repo](http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-python-debian/python-debian.git) is more than welcome.

The currently-available version of 'python-debian' shows (in its 'debian/control' file) the [official repository](http://bzr.debian.org/pkg-python-debian/trunk/) is a Bazaar one. What's "the git repo"? â€”bignose

Also, that repo gives me the following error:

    $ git clone http://git.debian.org/?p=pkg-python-debian/python-debian.git
    Initialized empty Git repository in /home/bignose/repo/debian/python-debian/git/python-debian/.git/
    Cannot get remote repository information.
    Perhaps git-update-server-info needs to be run there?

    $ git --version
    git version 1.5.5.4
